Truck loaded with motorcycles seized in Palamu, fear of distribution in elections

All agencies are on alert in view of the assembly elections in Jharkhand. Late on Friday evening, the State Tax Department team caught a truck carrying a motorcycle in Palamu. The truck driver could not show the documents related to the motorcycle, after which it was confiscated. The agency suspects that it was being brought to be distributed in the elections.

At present the matter has been investigated. It is being told that action has been taken on the basis of information received by Palamu Superintendent of Police. The truck carrying the motorcycle was going from Daltenganj towards Lesliganj. 24 new motorcycles of Hero Company are loaded on it. State tax officer Ankesh Alankar informed this to the SP.

Palamu SP director Lesliganj police station in-charge Raju Gupta brought the truck to Lesliganj police station. There is information that a candidate has ordered a bike. However, this has not been confirmed yet. Police from where the motorcycle was purchased. Complete information is being taken from that showroom operator. Investigation is still going on in the matter.
