Truecaller, the world's leading communications platform, today launched its biggest update ever for iPhone. With this new update, iPhone users can now take advantage of Truecaller's full spam and scam call blocking capabilities. After this update, iPhone users will now have the same features which were earlier available only to Android users.

The availability of this update is made possible by Apple's Live Caller ID lookup framework, which is designed specifically for apps like Truecaller. This framework provides live caller ID while maintaining privacy. This API uses state-of-the-art homomorphic encryption, and Truecaller is the first platform in the world to implement it at scale for caller ID.
New features of Truecaller
Truecaller has been filtering unwanted calls for the last 15 years. Now on iOS, identifying calls is even easier using Truecaller's latest AI capabilities and global database. Apart from this, now iPhone users will also have the facility to block spam calls automatically. Truecaller iOS users were demanding this feature for a long time.
The new update also adds the ability to search for previously identified calls, which lets you search up to the last 2,000 numbers in recent calls in the Phone app.
Truecaller Premium Family Plan on iOS
iOS users now also have the option to get Truecaller's Premium Family Plan, which lets you share all the benefits of Truecaller Premium with up to 4 family members for a low monthly or annual price.
How to Enable Truecaller on iOS 18.2?
Make sure you have Truecaller version 14.0 or later on your iPhone.
Go to iPhone Settings and open “Phone Call Blocking and Identification”.
Here enable all Truecaller switches and then open the Truecaller app again.
