Know how it works – Obnews
Truecaller has been a great app for Android users to identify unknown numbers, but iPhone users have been deprived of an important feature-live collar ID. The iPhone users could find the numbers only after the call till now, but they were not informed in real-time as to who is calling. However, this is about to change because Truecaller is finally bringing this much awaited feature for iPhone users.
Truecaller brought live collar ID in iPhones
Apple has recently launched privacy-focused live caller ID look-up framework, especially designed for apps such as Truecaller, to show real-time collar details. This technique uses advanced homeomorphic encryption, and Truecaller is the first app to apply it on such a large scale. Now, when an unknown number calls, the name of the collar will appear on the screen, which will give the iphone users the option to answer or reject the call.
How to enable Truecaller Live Caller ID at iOS 18.2:
– Open the setting app on your iPhone.
– Go to the app and tap on the phone.
– Enable switch under call blocking and identity.
– Turn on all Truecaller tabs.
– Open the Truecaller app again.
This will activate live collar ID facility on your iPhone.
