Court gave another blow to Trump, declared deportation policy illegal after tariff, ordered to cancel it

US Third Country Deportation Policy Illegal: US President Donald Trump has received another big blow from the court. Recently, a federal judge has declared Trump’s ‘Third Country’ deportation policy illegal and ordered its cancellation. Even before this, Trump’s tariffs have been declared illegal. Judge Brian E. Murphy, of the US District Court in Massachusetts, issued the order on Wednesday.

Judge Murphy said that under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policy, migrants should be given ‘meaningful notice’ and an opportunity to object before being deported to a third country. The judge ruled the policy illegal because it took effect before immigrants could challenge deportation. He said that this is against the basic principles of US law and the Constitution, which provide any person with the right to “due process of law” Do not allow anyone to be deprived of life, liberty or property.

There was panic in Trump administration

After this decision, there has been panic in the Trump administration. However, the case has already reached the US Supreme Court, and now the final decision will be taken there. Judge Murphy has postponed his decision for 15 days so that the government can appeal. He reminded that last year the US Supreme Court ruled in favor of the administration, allowing some migrants to be sent to war-torn South Sudan, where they had no ties.

Judge Murphy also said that the Trump administration has repeatedly violated his orders. In March the Defense Department deported at least six migrants to El Salvador and Mexico without due process. The judge also noted that administration officials were concealing material facts, thereby obscuring the merits of any individual migrant’s claim.

Trump’s policy targets immigrants

Murphy also explained that the Third Country policy targets migrants who cannot be returned safely to their country of origin because they fear torture or other persecution. The eight men deported to South Sudan in May were convicted of crimes in the US and had final deportation orders.
