Trump again threatens before peace talks in Pakistan
Before the peace talks to be held in Pakistan, US President Donald Trump has once again threatened Iran. Trump said that Iran is alive only for talks. The US President said, ‘Iran has no option, it is alive only for talks.’ This threat of Trump has come just hours before the Islamabad talks.
Trump has shared a post on Truth Social, in which he said regarding the Strait of Hormuz that Iran is making the world a victim of extortion by controlling international waterways. He said, ‘Iran has no card to scare the world by using international waterways, it is alive today only for talks.’
Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social that Iran must understand that it is necessary to follow international rules. Trump claimed that even if Iran does not cooperate, the US will soon take steps to open the Strait of Hormuz. It is clear from his statement that America is in no mood to back down on this issue.
Trump also accused Iran of saying one thing during talks and something else in front of the media. According to him, Iran comes forward and says that it is ready to give up nuclear weapons, but later talks about uranium enrichment. He also said that the people of Iran are more adept at propaganda and image building than fighting.
US Vice President JD Vance has reached Islamabad with his team, where he will hold talks with representatives of Iran. Pakistan is playing the role of mediator in this entire negotiation and is trying to bring both the countries to an agreement. However, Trump has also indicated that if these talks are not successful then the situation may worsen again. He told that American warships have already been kept ready and action can be taken if needed.
