Congress MP and leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has called the trade deal with America a betrayal of the country. He believes that this trade will cause loss to the farmers and small traders of the country. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi mentioned cricketer Sanju Samson and said that it was good to know that star batsman Sanju Samson, who played in the T20 World Cup quarter-finals, is from Thiruvananthapuram.
At the concluding ceremony of the Puthuyuga Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Just as Trump controls PM Modi, PM Modi controls the Chief Minister of Kerala. Everyone knows this. If you seriously ask this question to CPM workers, they will agree that what I am saying is correct.

Rahul Gandhi further said, ‘I want to understand why CBI and ED take action against opposition leaders, but why they do not take action against the Chief Minister or leaders of Kerala.’
Rahul Gandhi says, ‘PM Modi has disappointed the country. I believe that the Prime Minister has betrayed the country by signing the deal with America. Before him, no PM opened the country’s agricultural sector to America. Farmers, small traders and common people will have to bear the consequences of this deal.

Rahul Gandhi claimed that small farmers of India will now have to compete with big mechanized farming companies of America. This will cause devastation in the agricultural sector of the country. He accused the central government of compromising the country’s energy sector and claimed that the US President had extracted Indian data through this deal.
‘CPI should be named Corporatist Party of India’
Rahul Gandhi attacked CPI. He asked a question to the Left Front workers that you call yourself a communist government. Please tell me what is communist in your government in Kerala today? This is the most corporatist government Kerala has ever seen. We suggest that the name of Communist Party of India be changed to Corporatist Party of India. At least stand by what you say.
