New Delhi: The Iran-Israel–US war has entered its second month. Due to this war the regional situation has become more complex. US President Donald Trump said that US troops can soon withdraw from Iran, for which he gave a possible time of two to three weeks. However, along with military activities, diplomatic efforts are also continuing. Iranian President Massoud Pejeshkian said his country is ready to end the war if guaranteed that conflict will not occur again in the future.

On the other hand, several powerful explosions occurred this morning in the southern area of Beirut in Lebanon, due to which huge clouds of smoke were seen rising in Jannah area. Israel’s military claimed to have targeted a senior Hezbollah commander and another senior member. Israeli attacks have intensified in Lebanon, where attacks in southern parts of the country have killed at least eight people, including a paramedic. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clarified that the military operation is not over yet. He said, ‘This campaign will continue and we will completely destroy the structure of terror.

Mojtaba Khamenei announced continued support to Hezbollah
Mojtaba Khamenei has announced continued support for Hezbollah. According to Iranian state media, he sent a message to Hezbollah chief Naim Qasim saying that Iran’s policy will be based on supporting those fighting against America and Israel. He also said that this strategy is moving forward on the path of Ali Khamenei and former Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Iran reiterated that it will stand firmly with its allies.

Syria distanced itself from any war, said – now not ready for any new war
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa clearly said that his country will stay away from the ongoing war between America, Israel and Iran. Speaking at an event at the Chatham House think tank in London, al-Sharaa said Syria would not get involved in any war unless it was attacked directly and on a large scale. He said that Syria has endured a long war of 14 years and is now not ready for any new war.

Regarding the ongoing war with Iran, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that this war is now moving towards its final stage. He said in an interview that ‘We can see the destination of victory. It won’t end today or tomorrow, but soon. Rubio also indicated that direct talks could be held with Iranian officials in the future, raising hopes for a diplomatic solution.
