US President’s New Tariffs: US President Donald Trump has made a big announcement amid protests against the Khamenei administration in Iran. Trump has announced to impose an additional 25 percent tariff on countries doing business with Iran. This order of the US President can create problems for many countries including India and China, because they are major trading partners of Iran.

US President Donald Trump has announced that any country doing “business” with Iran will have to pay 25 percent tariffs on its trade with Washington. This move may affect Iran’s big trading partners like India, China and UAE. “Effective immediately, any country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will be required to pay a 25 percent tariff on all business done with the United States of America. This order is final and conclusive,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Monday.
Iran’s major trading partners include China, Türkiye, India, UAE, Pakistan and Armenia. This is not the first time that Trump has announced tariffs to stop trade with any country. Earlier, tariffs were imposed on countries purchasing Russian oil. In which India was also included.
