Trump hints: war nearing end, Iran government ready to make peace deal

Washington, April 15. America’s stance regarding the war that broke out in West Asia one and a half months ago seems to be softening. This can be gauged from the latest statement of US President Donald Trump. In fact, Trump said in an interview on Wednesday that the war with Iran is very close to ending and the Iranian government is ready to make a peace agreement.

Trump said in an interview with Fox Business, ‘We have defeated them badly. I think this fight is close to over. I believe we are very close to the end of the war…If the war continues, it will take more than 20 years to rebuild Iran. They (Iran) are desperate for a deal.

Stock markets rise on hope of end of war

This statement of the US President has come at a time when the global stock market was hopeful that the war would end soon. In this sequence, there was a rise in the American markets on 13 and 14 April. There was a tremendous recovery in the Indian market after Monday’s big fall. However, talks between the US and Iran in Pakistan late last week were inconclusive.

Trump justified military action against Iran

In his interview, Trump justified the US military action against Iran. He said, ‘We have to stop them from making nuclear weapons.’ Regarding the rise in crude oil prices, he said that the rise in crude oil was due to supply disruption. Now prices will fall soon. With the end of the war, there will be a big rise in the stock markets. Sources say that the second round of talks between America and Iran is expected to start soon.
