Trump’s big decision: Agreement with Iran ended, Pakistan’s mediation efforts completely failed
Trump On US Iran Relations: During the NATO summit held in Turkey’s capital Ankara, US President Donald Trump made a big statement regarding relations with Iran. Speaking to the media, Trump said that he believes that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between America and Iran is no longer effective.
‘The MoU has now ended’
While talking to reporters, Trump said, I think the MoU is now over. He indicated that after recent developments the agreement between the two countries no longer has any practical significance. However, he did not clarify which particular agreement or MoU he was referring to.
Mentioned military action on Iran
Trump claimed that the US has recently taken powerful military action against extremely dangerous people associated with Iran. He said that this operation was done keeping in mind the American security interests and it was carried out with full capacity.
Targeted at Iranian leadership
In his statement, Donald Trump also criticized the Iranian leadership. He said that there are serious concerns about the attitude of Iran’s current leadership. This comment of Trump has come at a time when tension between America and Iran continues and concerns are being raised at the international level regarding regional security.
