Trump preparing to destroy Iran’s oil network, China also on target… Big stir in the global market

America has once again taken a big step against Iran. The Trump administration has imposed economic sanctions on about 40 shipping companies and tankers, including a major Chinese oil refinery. This decision is not only likely to affect Iran’s oil business, but has also intensified the turmoil in the international market. This action is part of a broader campaign by the US government aimed at completely weakening Iran’s biggest source of income – oil exports.

America believes that the money received from oil sales strengthens Iran’s military and other activities, which needs to be stopped. According to the US Finance Ministry, this step has been taken to break the networks of Iran through which it transports its oil to different parts of the world.

Strictness on the Strait of Hormuz

Along with this, America has also imposed a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, an important sea route of the Persian Gulf. This route is considered very important for global oil supply. This move may impact energy markets around the world and may lead to fluctuations in oil prices.

China’s big refinery on target

Hengli Petrochemical Company located in Dalian city of China is also included in the sanctions imposed by America. This refinery has the capacity to process about four lakh barrels of crude oil daily and is counted among the major independent refineries of China. American officials say that this company has been buying oil from Iran since 2023, due to which Iran has got huge economic benefits. He claims that this trade has also provided economic support to Iranian military activities.

reports of international organizations

‘United Against Nuclear Iran’, an organization working against Iran, had also earlier claimed that many Chinese companies like Hengli were buying oil from Iran. According to the organization, this network is quite large and extends to many countries. US Finance Minister Scott Besant has clearly said that his government will keep an eye on every aspect related to Iran’s oil business. He said that efforts will continue to stop this trade by targeting the entire network of ships, middlemen and buyers.

Warning to other countries also

Earlier, America had warned the financial institutions of China, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and Oman. In the letters sent to these countries, it was said that if they continued trade with Iran, sanctions could also be imposed on them. America alleged that some countries are indirectly supporting Iran’s suspicious activities through their financial systems.
