Trump retaliates on Iran’s threat, makes big announcement regarding ‘Hormuz’

The war continues in the Middle East. Meanwhile, a big statement has come out from US President Donald Trump on his threat to close Iran’s ‘Strait of Hormuz’. Trump clearly said that the US Navy will provide security cover to commercial oil tankers. Due to which the worldwide energy supply will not be disrupted in any way. Earlier, Iran had warned that tankers passing through Hormuz would be targeted.

Amidst the ongoing war with Iran, US President Donald Trump posted this information on the social media platform Truth. He wrote, if needed, the US Navy will start escorting the tankers. He further said, whatever happens, America assures that the world will continue to get uninterrupted energy supply. He also ordered to provide insurance facility for commercial ships, so that the scared ship owners can feel safe.

US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, ‘With immediate effect, I have ordered the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) to provide at a reasonable price political risk insurance and guarantees for the financial security of all maritime trade, especially energy, transiting through the Gulf. This will be available for all shipping lines.

He further said, ‘If necessary, the US Navy will soon start escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. No matter what happens, the United States will ensure the supply of energy to the world. Trump said the economic and military power of the United States is the greatest on earth, and more steps will be taken. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
