Washington. The conflict continues between America and Iran. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that he is confident that China and Russia will not help Iran in this conflict. However, he also warned that if both countries get involved, it would have serious consequences.
Donald Trump said that during the recent meeting in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping had assured him that China will not give or sell arms to Iran, nor will this be done through Chinese companies. He further said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had also told him that Russia would not sell arms to Tehran.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said, ‘I think I trust him.’ He said that he does not believe that either country is helping Iran in this conflict.
According to Reuters, Trump’s comments came a few days after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told lawmakers that Russia and China were involved in matters that were promoting some of Iran’s activities. However, he did not give any further information in this regard.
It is being told that after the Iranian attacks on CIA bases in the Gulf, American intelligence agencies are also investigating whether Russia has helped Iran through targeting information or drone technology. However, the Kremlin has refused to comment on this report.
