Donald Trump on Russia Ukraine War: The war between Russia and Ukraine is continuing since February 2022, and US President Donald Trump has recently given a big statement on this. Trump said that he has ended eight wars so far and he expected the Russia-Ukraine conflict to be easy to resolve, but the reality was the opposite. He told that Russia is satisfied with his proposal, but he does not know whether Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will accept it or not.

According to Trump, his proposal has the support of Ukrainian officials, but Zelensky has not yet taken it seriously. He said he was talking with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leaders to take steps toward ending the war. He also expressed that Ukrainian officials are not ready yet, while Russia is looking at it positively.

America benefited from the tariff

Trump also commented on his administration’s tariff policy. The current tariff regime provides extraordinary flexibility to the US and is extremely important for national security, he said at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC. According to him, trade and tariff policies have played a major role in the eight wars that have been ended so far. Trump also said that if other tariff measures were adopted, they would not have the same benefit on national security.
