Trump’s big claim, Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive….but probably ‘injured’

Washington. US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is alive but was probably injured in the early days of the war with the US-Israel alliance. In an interview with local media Fox News, Trump said that he is definitely alive in some form or the other, but his condition may be ‘injured’.

Khamenei was elected the new supreme leader last Sunday following the death of his father Ali Khamenei. Ali Khamenei was killed in the initial attacks of the war. The special thing is that Mojtaba has not made any public or video appearance yet. His first official message on Thursday was also read out by a TV anchor.

In his message he vowed to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed and warned of attacks on neighboring countries that host US military bases. This fierce conflict began on February 28, when the US and Israel attacked Iran’s military and nuclear bases. In response, Iran has also retaliated with missiles and drones. Hundreds of people have been killed so far in this war that has been going on for two weeks and a huge decline has been recorded in the global oil market.
