Trump’s big statement: America-Iran conflict will end soon, hope for peace in next 3 weeks
Washington. Amidst the ongoing tension between America, Israel and Iran since February 28, US President Donald Trump has assured that America is trying to end the war with Iran soon. Trump said that the war can be stopped in two-three weeks through talks. However, Iran has denied any direct communication, but confirmed that messages were exchanged through intermediaries.
Trump’s statement and hope for relief-
Trump told reporters that America just has to get out of the Iran war and this will be possible soon. He also made it clear that after the end of the war, if there is a need to import oil or gas from the Middle East, then the countries will have to ensure their own security.
Hormuz Waterway and Oil Crisis-
America has now left the responsibility of security of the Hormuz waterway in the Persian Gulf to other countries. Trump said, “Go get your own oil!” America fulfills its own petroleum needs, but due to the blockage in Hormuz, oil prices have increased worldwide.
Impact on world market-
Although the US military previously offered to protect oil tankers passing through the region, the US has now made it the responsibility of countries that depend on Middle East oil. This statement of Trump has raised hopes of some relief in the global energy market.
