Citing a statement from the White House on Wednesday, US Customs and Border Protection said the new tariffs would be imposed on goods removed from warehouses on or after February 7. It should be noted that the US Customs and Border Protection Department has clarified that the 18 percent tariff rule will be imposed from now on as announced by Trump.

Incidentally, the US president said to reduce tariffs on the condition of not buying oil from Russia. Delhi has not yet opened its mouth on this issue. However, the Modi government told a parliamentary panel on Tuesday that India will continue to import cheap and high-quality crude oil from all countries.
