Trump’s open threat to Iran – ‘If oil supply stops, disaster is certain’
Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, US President Donald Trump has given a strong warning against stopping the supply of oil to Iran. Trump has said that if Iran tries to stop the supply of oil in the Strait of Hormuz, strict action will be taken against it. This statement of Trump has come at a time when fuel prices are increasing in America and many countries of the world due to the ongoing war with Iran.
In fact, Iran has stopped ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz in response to the attacks by America and Israel. Due to this, the supply of crude oil has been affected and oil prices have started increasing in the international market.
Donald Trump gave a strict warning on his social platform regarding the increase in oil prices. He said that if Iran takes any such step which stops the movement of oil in the Strait of Hormuz, then America will not tolerate it at all. Trump said that if obstruction is imposed there, America will attack Iran twenty times bigger than the attacks done so far.
Trump said that if Iran stops the supply of oil, America will respond in such a way that it will be difficult for Iran to re-establish itself as a country. He said that only death, fire and anger would be seen there. However, he also said that he hopes that such a situation will not arise. Trump also said that his warning is a benefit for many countries because they depend on oil coming from the Middle East.
Since the start of the war in Iran, the supply of crude oil coming from Gulf countries through the Strait of Hormuz has been affected. Iran has closed this route for ships of many countries. Due to this, the concern of shortage of crude oil has increased in many parts of the world. Because of this, domestic pressure on Trump is increasing in America too.
America and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, after which this war started. Now this conflict has reached its second week. During this time, Israel and America are jointly attacking Iran. In response, Iran has attacked American military bases in the Gulf countries. The impact of this entire conflict is clearly visible on the oil production and supply of the area.
