Ingredients to make Missi Roti:
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Gram flour – 1 cup
Salt – as per taste – 1/2 teaspoon
Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 1-2 pinch
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Kasoori Methi – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 2 tsp
How to make Missi Roti
To make missi roti at home, first take out flour and gram flour in a bowl. Add salt, carom seeds, asafoetida, turmeric, kasuri methi and oil and mix. Knead soft dough with the help of water. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes to set. Now apply some oil on your hands and rub the dough to make it smooth. The dough for making missi roti is ready. Place the pan on the gas to heat it.

Take out a little dough from the kneaded dough, equal to the size of a medium sized potato and make a round ball. Wrap the ball in dry flour (parothan). Now roll the dough thinly. Put the rolled roti on a hot pan and turn it when the bottom surface gets lightly cooked.
After it is cooked on the other side, remove it from the pan and keep it directly on the fire, rotate the roti until brown spots appear on both the sides. Apply ghee on the front surface of the roasted roti and keep it covered with napkin paper in the container for keeping the roti. Prepare all the rotis in this manner. Missi Roti is ready, serve hot Missi Roti with vegetables, curd, chutney and pickle.
