Raw banana contains vitamins and minerals along with fiber which is beneficial for digestion. Today we are going to tell you how to make raw banana vegetable. So let's know its recipe.

Ingredients needed to make raw banana curry

Raw bananas – 6
Mustard oil – 2 to 3 tbsp
Green Coriander – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – a pinch of asafoetida
Turmeric powder – 1/3 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp
Dry mango powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make raw banana curry

To make raw banana curry, wash the bananas and cut them into small round pieces along with the peel. Do not forget to remove the stems by cutting them on both sides of the bananas. Now heat mustard oil in a pan on low flame. As soon as the oil gets hot, slow down the flame and add cumin, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, green chilli, ginger paste and fry the spices lightly.

After this, add chopped bananas to the spices, also add salt and red chili powder. Mix all the ingredients well and fry them well for 1 to 2 minutes. So that the spices coat the bananas properly. Now add 1/4 cup water to the vegetable and cover the pan and let the vegetable cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.

4. When the vegetable is cooked for 4 to 5 minutes, remove the lid of the pan and check. Also, stir the vegetable once. Then, add a little more water to the vegetable as per requirement and mix it well. After this, cover the vegetable again and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Keep checking the vegetable in between and keep stirring, this will prevent the vegetable from sticking to the pan. After 15 to 20 minutes, you will be able to see that the bananas have started becoming soft and the vegetable is cooked. Now finally add dry mango powder, garam masala and green coriander to the vegetable and mix well. Dry banana vegetable is ready, take it out in a bowl, garnish with green coriander and serve it with hot roti.
