Try Spicy Peanut Chutney

Life Style: Chutneys that enhance the taste and appetite of food are made in different ways in Indian kitchens. Indians usually serve coriander mint or tamarind chutney with their meals. But the taste of peanut chutney eaten in winter is different and delicious from other chutneys. Peanuts are often used at home to enhance the taste of poha and barley. But chutney can also enhance the taste of roti and rice. The special thing about this chutney is that it is prepared quickly and is very tasty.

– 1/2 cup peanuts

– 2-3 green chillies

1/2 ginger

– 1 teaspoon lemon juice

– salt to taste

Cumin – 1 teaspoon

– 2-3 spoons oil

– 1/2 cup mint leaves: To make peanut chutney, first wash the mint leaves thoroughly, soak them in water and keep them aside. – After this, add one spoon oil in the pan, fry two-three green chillies and keep them in a separate container. Then add 2 tablespoons oil in the pan and fry the peanuts well. Then add one spoon cumin seeds in the pan and fry for 30 seconds. Grind everything together with ginger and salt in a glass. – Add lemon juice to this chutney paste. Delicious peanut chutney is ready. This chutney can be served with dosa or roti.

Always fry peanuts on low flame. If you fry peanuts on high flame, they will burn. This will affect the taste of the chutney.

-Peanut chutney starts changing its taste within 2 to 3 hours of making it. Therefore, while making it, make sure to use cold, boiled or filtered water.
