New Delhi: The Department of School Education, Telangana will end the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 online registration process today, November 20. The TS TET 2024 registration link is available on the official website, tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/. Candidates while applying, need to pay Rs 750 as the TS TET application fee for a single paper and Rs 1,000 for both papers.
The TS TET 2024 admit card will be made available on December 26 and the exam is scheduled to be conducted between January 1 to January 20, 2025. The TS TET 2024 exam will be for a total of two papers- paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 is for the appointment of primary teachers (Class 1 to Class 5), while paper 2 is for secondary teachers (Class 6 to Class 8). Those who are seeking to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 need to appear for both papers. Those who qualify the exam will be called for a document verification process.
The exam will be held in two shifts for a duration of two hours and 30 minutes. Shift 1 will be from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and shift 2 from 2 PM to 4: 30 PM.
TS TET 2024 exam pattern
- The TS TET 2024 paper will have a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in each of the papers.
- Paper 1 will have questions from child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, mathematics, and environmental studies sections.
- Paper 2 will have questions from child development and pedagogy, language-1, language-2, and an optional subject of mathematics and science or social studies, social sciences.
- For every correct answer, one mark will be given.
- There is no negative marking for the incorrect attempt.
Candidates need to carry the relevant educational certificates, age proof documents, caste certificate (if any) photo identity proof and the TS TET admit card on the document verification day.
