TTE Misconduct: These days, a video is going viral on social media, in which a heated argument is seen between a ticket examiner (TTE) and a passenger. In the video, the TTE is allegedly seen interrogating the passenger by holding him by his collar.

The passenger repeatedly claims that he has a valid ticket and has done no wrong. After the video of the incident surfaced, people have started raising questions on the behavior of railway employees.

Even after having a ticket, the TTE is holding the collar of the passenger. Suppose, even if there was no ticket, does the TTE have the right to hold the collar?

Despite having a ticket, TTE caught the passenger’s collar

It can be seen in the video that the passenger is recording the entire incident from his mobile. He asks the TTE why his collar has been caught. During this, the passenger also asks the people present nearby whether he had tried to run away.

During the argument the TTE is heard saying that the other person accompanying the passenger had fled. To this the passenger replies that it is not his responsibility to be of any other person. A heated argument continues between the two for some time, after which the passenger angrily releases his collar.

People demanded action against TTE

The user who shared the video has raised the question that even if a passenger does not have a ticket, does the TTE have the right to grab his collar or behave rudely? Media But a large number of users have also criticized this behavior. Many people said that holding a government post does not mean that a passenger should be misbehaved.

However, when and where the viral video is from has not been officially confirmed. According to railway rules, if any employee behaves inappropriately, departmental action can be taken against him. At present, debate is going on on social media regarding this matter.
