UP:- Excavation of the ancient stepwell in Laxmanganj of Chandausi city of Sambhal started again on Sunday morning. During this time, DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia and SP Krishna Vishnoi are also present on the spot.
A tunnel was found during the digging of a well in Chandausi on Saturday. During this time, an old building has also been revealed under the ground. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of having a basement. During this time a large number of forces were present along with SDM Vandana Mishra. At the same time, during excavation, large ancient gates were also seen.

Earlier, the Indian Archaeological Department team had surveyed the Kalki temple in the morning. During this time the team had taken photographs of the dome. Saturday was the second day of this survey. On Friday, the team secretly conducted a survey for about 9 hours, in which samples were taken from 5 pilgrimage sites and 19 wells.

Stepwell of the grandfather's time of the king of Bilari

DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia said that this 400 square meter area is registered in stepwell pond. The people there say that this stepwell was built during the time of the grandfather of the king of Bilari, its second floor and third floor are made of marble and the upper floor is made of bricks.
Apart from this, it has a well and 4 rooms, which were dug out of soil. Currently there is 210 square meters which is occupied. The encroachment will be removed. It is being told that it could be around 125 to 150 years old.

Two idols kept in different temples

On the question of getting the survey done by the ASI team, the DM said that if needed, he will also write a letter to the ASI. He told that through public hearing it was revealed that Banke Bihari Temple of Chandausi is about 150 years old. The two idols here are kept safe in different temples.
