Iran Israel War News: Amidst the ongoing fierce war in West Asia, Turkey has adopted a major diplomatic stance and openly supported Iran. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while addressing lawmakers in Ankara, made it clear that he stands with Iran in this hour of crisis and appealed to Muslims around the world to unite.

Big call for Muslim unity

President Erdogan, ignoring sectarian differences in his address, said that I am neither Sunni nor Shia. We are all Muslims. He stressed that it is time to support each other and stop war. Erdogan said in a warning tone that if this violence is not stopped immediately, this fire will not be limited to this region only, but will engulf the entire world.

Target on Israel and America

Erdogan has directly blamed Israel for this war. He said that this war has been started by Israel and only they can stop it. Along with this, he termed the air strikes being carried out by America and Israel as a ‘clear violation’ of international law. Have agreed. However, Erdogan has adopted an interesting diplomatic strategy by avoiding directly criticizing US President Donald Trump by name, so as to preserve personal relations with him.

Mediation efforts and Israel’s response

Turkey is currently actively trying to mediate between Iran and America so that global peace can be restored. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is continuously holding diplomatic discussions to deal with this crisis.

On the other hand, Israel has strongly condemned Turkey’s stance. It is noteworthy that Turkey is the only country in the region on which Iran has not yet launched any aggressive attack.
