Twisha Sharma case: Supreme Court takes suo motu cognizance, now hearing will be held on Monday

New Delhi23 May. The Twisha Sharma death case of Madhya Pradesh, which was discussed across the country, has now reached the Supreme Court. Considering the seriousness of this matter, the apex court has taken suo motu cognizance of it. Now a bench headed by Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant can hear the matter on Monday.

Delhi doctors will go to Bhopal

It is noteworthy that in Twisha Sharma case, Madhya Pradesh High Court has already approved re-postmortem of the dead body. Now the doctors of Delhi AIIMS will go to Bhopal and investigate. Twisha’s brother Ashish Sharma has expressed gratitude to the High Court for this decision. Instructions have been given to keep Twisha’s body safe in AIIMS Bhopal.

Twisha Sharma was found dead in her in-laws house.

It is noteworthy that Twisha Sharma was found dead in her in-laws house in Bhopal on the night of 12th May. According to the police, she was allegedly found hanging from the rope of a gymnastics ring on the terrace of the house at around 10.26 pm on May 12. Twisha’s post-mortem was conducted on May 13 at the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Department of AIIMS Bhopal. In the post mortem report, hanging with rope was said to be the cause of death.

Meanwhile, Twinsha Sharma’s cousin has claimed that no wrinkle was visible on the face of accused husband Samarth Singh during the hearing in the court. When permission was given for the second post-mortem after 11 days, he also claimed tampering with the evidence.
