Twisha Sharma death case: Husband and mother-in-law in judicial custody till June 16, shocking negligence revealed in CBI investigation

Bhopal. The investigation into the suspicious death of famous actress and model Twisha Sharma is continuously taking new turns. On Tuesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) presented accused husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law Giribala Singh in the special CJM court of Bhopal after completion of five-day remand. The court has ordered to send both of them to Bhopal Central Jail in judicial custody till June 16.

Heated debate took place in the court-
During the hearing, a heated argument was witnessed between the lawyers of both the sides in the court premises. Accused Giribala Singh made serious allegations against Twisha’s lawyer Anurag Srivastava, claiming that his son Samarth Singh was assaulted during his appearance in the Jabalpur court.

However, lawyer Anurag Srivastava rejected the allegations and said that the truth could be revealed from the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the court premises. He also raised the question as to where Samarth Singh was hiding during his absconding.

Major negligence of police revealed in investigation-
A serious negligence in the case has also come to light during the CBI investigation. Investigation has revealed that instead of immediately sending the belt with which Twisha’s body was found hanging, the then investigating officer kept it in his personal car for about two days.

Not only this, this important evidence was not made available to the doctors even during the post-mortem. Later, as the controversy escalated, it was sent for forensic investigation. CBI is now also investigating the role of the concerned police officer in this case.

The angle of economic stress is also under investigation.
A new financial aspect has also emerged in the investigation. It has been learned that Twisha Sharma had not received regular salary for the last six to seven months from the company where she was working as a model and actress.

The CBI is now trying to find out what impact financial pressure, family circumstances and other factors had on his mental condition. For this, scene recreation, electronic evidence and forensic reports are being matched.

Denial of allegations-
During CBI remand, Samarth Singh and his mother Giribala Singh rejected the allegations of torture, assault and evidence tampering against them and claimed that their relationship with Twisha was normal.

At present, the investigation of the case is going on and CBI is busy collecting evidence on various aspects. This matter continues to be a topic of discussion in the state.
