2 arrested for dragging tribal man by car in Kerala, CM gives instructions for strict action

Wayanad: Police have detained two people in connection with a case of dragging a tribal man for about half a kilometer after his thumb got stuck in the car door two days ago in North Kerala's Wayanad district. Police gave this information on Tuesday. Mohammed Harsheed and Abhiram, residents of Pachilakkad, were detained from Kalpetta, police said. Police said that two of the four accused are still absconding, identified as Vishnu and Nabeel.

The incident took place on the evening of December 15 near a 'check dam' at Koodal Kadavu in Mananthavady, videos of which were telecast on television channels on Monday.
