Two dead bodies found in a rented house in East of Kailash, Delhi, shocked to see the inside
New Delhi: There was a sensation in the East of Kailash area of Delhi on Monday morning when the bodies of two people from Maharashtra were recovered from a rented house. After not being able to contact the two for a long time, when the door of the room was opened, people were shocked to see the scene inside. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case.
According to Delhi Police, at around 9.08 am on Monday morning, Amar Colony police station had received information about the bodies of two people being found in a rented house located in East of Kailash. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot. After examining the room, the police took possession of both the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. The police also found a handwritten note from the spot. The investigating officers have seized this note and it is now being investigated.
As soon as the door opened, a shocking scene appeared.
According to the police, the two people living in the room could not be contacted for a long time. After this, a friend or neighbor of the woman suspected something untoward. When the door did not open even after several attempts, he got the door opened. On reaching inside the room, a young man was found hanging from the fan, while the woman was lying unconscious on the bed. Seeing this scene the neighbor immediately informed the police. After the arrival of the police, the room was thoroughly examined and the items found at the spot were secured for investigation.
Both the deceased were residents of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Police officials said that in the initial investigation, both the deceased have been identified as residents of Nagpur, Maharashtra. The body of a 26-year-old woman was found on the bed in the room. At the same time, the body of 30-year-old Anmol Kunda Patil was found hanging from a noose made of nylon rope. Police have also made the handwritten note found at the scene an important part of the investigation. Initially it is believed that this note may have been written by Anmol Kunda Patil. However, the police is still investigating to confirm this.
The picture will become clear after post-mortem and forensic investigation.
Both the bodies have been sent to AIIMS mortuary for post-mortem. Police officials say that at present the case is being seen as a suspected suicide, but the real cause of death can be confirmed only after the post mortem report comes. Apart from this, the notes and other items recovered from the spot are being sent for forensic examination.
Investigating agencies are trying to find out the circumstances under which both of them died and whether there was any dispute or other reason before this incident. Police say that further action will be taken on the basis of post-mortem report, forensic investigation and evidence obtained from the spot.
