Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill’s name is included in the men’s shortlist, while in the women’s category, Team India’s spin bowler Shri Charani has been nominated.

Indian cricket team’s ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill batted brilliantly in the month of June. In the only test match against Afghanistan, he played many brilliant innings of 126 runs. After this, he scored 84 runs in the first match of the ODI series, then in the second ODI, Gill scored 154 runs.
