Dubai. Indian opener Sanju Samson, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and South African batsman Connor Esterhuizen have been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2026. In the women’s category, New Zealand captain Amelia Kerr, Australian batsman Beth Mooney and South African fast bowler Ayabonga Khaka are in the race.

New player Esterhuizen has made his place in this shortlist after his excellent T20 debut series in New Zealand; In this series, he recorded the best figures after five T20 matches compared to any player from his country.

Meanwhile, Kerr’s stellar performances in the ODI and T20 matches against Zimbabwe and South Africa have made him a strong contender to win the ICC Player of the Month award for the third time, while Mooney also performed well in both formats against India and West Indies. Khaka was the leading wicket taker in the T20 series held in New Zealand, after which she also performed brilliantly in the first ODI.
