Two sisters arrested for selling 100,000 bottles of fake Chanel, Dior perfumes
They have charged Vu Hong Duong, 33, and Vu Thi Yen Mai, 36, with selling counterfeit goods. Three others who helped distribute the fakes face the same charges.

Investigators found that the duo ran social media accounts, including “Duong Vu” and “Mai Vu,” to sell the perfumes at unusually low prices.
They bought large quantities of perfumes overseas and brought them into Vietnam, recruiting sales collaborators in many localities, the police said.
The counterfeits were sophisticated, with bottles, packaging, labels, and barcodes closely resembling genuine items, making them almost indistinguishable with the naked eye.

A police raid on May 12 of several locations found 1,500 bottles of counterfeit perfumes possessed by the ring.
The distributors said they bought the fake products from the sisters for VND160,000-250,000 per item and sold them at VND1-1.5 million, pocketing the difference. The police are continuing with the investigation.
