He took 157 wickets in 145 matches for this franchise. During this period, he also became Purple Winner twice in a row (2016 and 2017). Before last season, RCB had bought him in the mega auction for Rs 10.75 crore.

Bhuvneshwar also performed well for RCB and played an important role in fulfilling the title dream of this team by taking 17 wickets in 14 matches.
