Terrorist attack on police van in Pakistan, two terrorists killed in encounter
Peshawar: Terrorist attacks on security forces are happening every day in Pakistan. Terrorists on Saturday attacked a police mobile van in Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and two terrorists were killed in retaliation.
Police said the terrorists ambushed the van which was on patrol in the area under Cantonment police station in Bannu district. In the encounter that followed, two terrorists were killed. No police officers were injured in the attack.

no casualties
Authorities have identified the deceased terrorists. In another incident, a joint post of police and paramilitary Frontier Corps was attacked in Navagai area of Bajaur district of the province. Nonetheless, the attack was foiled. It was fortunate that there were no casualties. In another incident, Haji Sharifullah, affiliated with Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islam (JUI-F), was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Bannu district. Police have registered the case and started investigation.

Earlier, terrorists attacked a post of security forces in the restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In which 10 soldiers were killed and three others were injured. A police official had said that the security personnel were killed in an encounter following the attack on Thursday at a check post in Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan district. According to the official, a contingent of soldiers reached the spot immediately after the attack and a massive operation was launched to arrest the attackers.
