Passenger vehicles (PVs) recorded highest-ever sales of 3.93 lakh units in October 2024, up 0.9 per cent, although the growth was based on the higher figure of October last year.
This increase was also seen in vehicle registration data, with registrations of both passenger vehicles and two-wheelers increasing by more than 30 percent in October 2024 compared to October 2023. However, sales of three wheelers declined by 0.7 percent compared to October last year and stood at 0.77 lakh units in October 2024.
