Two Wheelers Sale in November 2025: Wholesale sales of two-wheelers have increased by 19 percent year-on-year to 18 lakh units in November. This information was given in a report released on Friday. The ICRA report attributed the strong growth in wholesale sales of two-wheelers to the reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and offers given by companies to dealers, which maintained customer footfall in showrooms after the festive season and attracted dealers to replenish the inventory.

The ratings firm said FY26 two-wheeler volume growth may increase by 6-9 percent. This will be helped by reduction in GST, increase in urban consumption and recovery in rural demand due to normal monsoon.

There is a buzz in the market during the festive season

However, retail sales of two-wheelers declined by 9.1 percent on an annual basis in November. The reason for this is higher sales during the festive season. Sales were at a record high during the festive season in October due to festivals like Diwali and Dussehra. The report said that due to the positive impact of GST and strong demand from the ongoing wedding season, dealers are continuously receiving good response from customers.

Decline in sales of electric two-wheelers

The report said that there was a slight decline of 1.4 percent in the retail sales of electric two-wheelers on an annual basis, their sales in November stood at 1,17,335 units. The share of electric two-wheelers in the overall two-wheeler segment remained stable at 6-7 per cent in the first eight months of FY26, reflecting gradually increasing usage. According to Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) data, inventory levels improved from 60 days at the end of September to 44-46 days by November 2025, led by strength in retail sales.

Also got benefit from GST rate cut

The share of utility vehicles in total passenger vehicle sales in November was 67 percent, which is less than 69 percent in October. The report said this growth will continue till 2026 with continued policy reforms and improved market sentiment.
