In this video, ‘Preeti and Payal’, a girl resident of Butrada and a girl from Bareilly, are demanding protection from the police administration, claiming to live together all their lives on their own will.

Video went viral on social media
In the video going viral on Instagram, both the girls have said that they have known each other for a long time. Apart from this, both of them are saying that there has been a lot of closeness between them and both of them have decided to live together. As soon as this video went viral, various types of discussions started in the area.
Expressed fear of danger from family and society
Also, in this viral video, the girls mentioned that they have become adults and said that they have the right to live life as per their wish. He says that there is a threat to his life from some people in the family and society. For this reason, they have demanded security from the police administration, so that they can live their lives together without any fear.

Police started investigation
Superintendent of Police NP Singh says that this matter is not yet formally in his cognizance. If any application is received regarding security, it will be investigated and action will be taken as per rules. He also told that after getting information about this video, the police is investigating the matter at its level.
Attempt to contact family members
However, the police is trying to contact the families of these girls. According to initial information, the family members are not present in the village at present and are said to have gone out for work. The police has clarified that no further action will be taken until all the facts are confirmed. On the one hand, experts say that if both the women are adults then they have the right to live together as per their choice. Also, if there is any apprehension or dispute related to security, then the police can take legal action on it.
