U-turn of Trump’s plane… Air Force One going to Davos faced technical problem, US President returned to White House

Washington. US President Donald Trump’s plane ‘Air Force One’ landed at Joint Base Andrews here due to a minor technical glitch, about an hour after leaving for Switzerland. Journalists present on the plane said that after takeoff, the Air Force One crew noticed a minor electrical problem, after which it was decided to turn the plane back for safety and it landed at Joint Base Andrews.

According to White House Press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt, Trump and those accompanying him will board a new plane. Trump will address the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday. He will participate in a greeting session, meet foreign leaders and attend a function with business leaders.

Trump will attend the ‘Board of Peace Charter Announcement’ on Thursday, where various countries will be invited to sign the charter. Those who sign it will join the body formed for the purpose of reconstruction of Gaza. Global leaders and business leaders are in Davos for the annual conference of the World Economic Forum.

This conference started from January 19 and will continue till January 23. Trump is visiting Davos at a time when there is tension between the US and European countries over his decisions to acquire Greenland and impose tariffs on other countries until “an agreement” is reached for the purchase of Greenland.
