U-turn of weather in Madhya Pradesh! Warning of heavy storm, rain and lightning for the next 4 days, alert issued

Bhopal. There is going to be relief from the scorching heat in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunderstorms and lightning for the next four days in many districts of the state. This change will be seen in the weather due to the activation of Western Disturbance and trough line. According to the Meteorological Department, a new system will affect North-West India from March 17, which will have a direct impact on the eastern and central parts of Madhya Pradesh.

New system active from March 17, there will be rain in these districts

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, this series of rains and strong winds may start from March 16 and continue till March 19.

  • 16 March: There are chances of light rain in southern and eastern districts like Betul, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat and Anuppur.

  • 17 March: There may be drizzle with movement of clouds in Seoni, Balaghat and Mandla.

  • 18 March: There is a possibility of rain with strong winds in Gwalior-Chambal division including Shahdol, Mandla and Chhindwara. Dust storm may also occur in Bhind, Morena and Sheopur.

Temperature crosses 39 degrees in Khargone and Narmadapuram, heat wave continues

While there is a rain alert in some districts, the heat of the sun continues in most parts of the state. Khargone was the hottest on Saturday, where the maximum temperature 39.2 degrees Celsius Recorded. In Narmadapuram also the mercury remained near 39 degrees. Temperature in capital Bhopal 37.2 degrees was recorded, whereas in Jabalpur it 37.7 degrees Reached. Even in districts like Umaria, Sagar, Dhar and Shajapur, the temperature remained above 37 degrees.

Western disturbance will bring relief

Meteorologists say that the direction of the winds will change due to the Western Disturbance that will reach North-West India on March 17. Due to the arrival of moisture, there may be some relief from ‘heat wave’ like conditions with thunderstorms in South-Eastern Madhya Pradesh and Gwalior divisions. However, where there will be no rain, there is a possibility of further increase in temperature by 1 to 2 degrees. Farmers have been advised to keep the harvested crops in safe places.
