U19 Asia Cup: The ODI match of the Asia Cup Under-19 tournament is being played between the Under-19 teams of India and Malaysia in Dubai today. In this match, Indian Under-19 batsman Abhigyan Kundu scored a record-breaking double century against Malaysia. Kundu has become the first Indian and second overall after South Africa’s Zorich van Schalkwyk to score a double century in U19 ODIs.

In this match being played at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai, Malaysia Under-19 team won the toss and decided to bowl first. After which, thanks to Abhigyan Kundu’s unbeaten inning of 209 runs in 125 balls, India Under-19 team has scored 408 after losing 7 wickets in 50 overs. During this, young wicketkeeper batsman Kundu reached his double century in 121 balls. His innings of 209 runs included 17 fours and 9 sixes. The explosive innings of this young batsman has attracted the attention of cricket fans.
Apart from Kundu, Vedant Trivedi played an important inning of 90 runs in 106 balls. Earlier, the team’s explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out after scoring 50 runs in 26 balls. Now Malaysian team has to score 409 runs to win. Which will not be easy in front of India’s lethal bowling.
