This prestigious junior tournament will be jointly hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia, marking a significant moment for youth cricket in Southern Africa.
U19 World Cup 2026: Tournament format
Sixteen teams will compete for the coveted Under-19 World title over a three-week period. The competition follows a familiar and competitive structure, with teams divided into four groups. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six stage, where performances will determine the semi-finalists. Following this, the top two teams will advance to the semi-finals, which will culminate in a final to crown the world champion.

Group A includes Australia, Ireland, Japan and Sri Lanka, while Group B includes Bangladesh, IndiaNew Zealand and the United States will compete for supremacy.
