UAE supports Syria, welcomes action against ISIS, expresses happiness over America’s big decision

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has fully supported the steps taken by the Syrian authorities to eliminate ISIS (Da’esh) terrorist bases. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has issued a statement praising the Syrian security forces. He said that this action against terrorists was very necessary.

On 9 July 2026, the Syrian Interior Ministry and General Intelligence Service conducted several major operations. Many terrorist cells associated with ISIS were caught in these operations. During this time, a big terrorist leader and many of his associates were arrested. These people were involved in activities like murder, robbery and providing money to terrorist organizations.

The UAE Foreign Ministry clearly stated that it opposes all forms of terrorism and radicalism. The ministry stressed that countries around the world will have to work together to deal with such threats.

Along with this, UAE has also welcomed a major decision of America. The US President has announced the removal of Syria from the list of ‘State Sponsors of Terrorism’. UAE believes that this step is very good for bringing stability in Syria and improving the condition of the country.
