UAE Travel Update: Ban on going to Lebanon lifted, now this work will have to be done before traveling otherwise approval will not be given
A good news has come for the citizens of UAE. The government has lifted the ban on travel to Lebanon. Now Emirati citizens will be able to visit Lebanon again. After this decision, a lot of happiness and enthusiasm is being seen among the people to go there.
UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said that this decision has come into effect from Monday, June 29, 2026. Earlier, on April 30, 2026, travel to Lebanon, Iraq and Iran was banned due to security reasons. However, this ban is still in place for Iran and Iraq.
Important rules for travel
All Emirati citizens traveling to Lebanon will now have to follow some strict rules. MoFA before starting the journey Twajudi It is mandatory to register on the service (consular service platform).
- Without registration, passengers will not be allowed to leave the UAE exit ports.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has thanked UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He said that this decision shows the strong relations between the two countries and Lebanon’s tourism and economy will greatly benefit from it. Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Joe Rajji has also welcomed this decision.
