UAE defeated Canada by 5 wickets, Aryansh and Sohaib created a stir, Junaid spread the magic

UAE vs CAN: UAE to CanadaDefeated by 5 wickets in the 20th match of T20 World Cup 2026. Canada won the toss and batted first at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi and scored 150 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. UAE won by scoring 151 runs losing 5 wickets in 19.4 overs. The heroes of this victory were Aryansh Sharma and Junaid Siddiqui, who contributed significantly to the team’s victory.

UAE faced big setbacks in the beginning

Aryansh Sharma and captain from UAE to chase the target of 151 runs to win against Canada in this match. Muhammad Wasim came. Wasim returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 runs. After this, Alishan Sharafu 5, Mayank Kumar 4 and Harshit Kaushik returned to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs. For the team, Aryansh along with Sohaib Khan led the team towards victory.

Aryansh played an unbeaten inning of 74 runs in 53 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Sohaib Khan batted stormily in the last overs and scored 51 runs in 29 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Saad Bin Zafar took maximum 3 wickets for Canada. So Kaleem Sana took 1 wicket in his name.

Junaid Siddiqui took 5 wickets

Earlier, for Canada, Navneet Dhaliwal played an inning of 34 runs in 28 balls with the help of 4 fours, while Harsh Thackeray played an inning of 50 runs in 41 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from these two, Shreyas Movva played an inning of 21 runs. Junaid Siddiqui took maximum 5 wickets for UAE. Junaid took 5 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs.
