UAE’s big victory in ITU, world joins hands to stop attacks on internet and phone networks
UAE has taken a major diplomatic initiative in the council session of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). In this session that ended on 8 May 2026, a historic resolution has been passed which will make the digital systems of the entire world secure. Now attacks on telecom infrastructure will be strongly condemned.

In the ITU Council session, the member countries have unanimously adopted a resolution. In this, organized attacks on digital connectivity systems have been condemned.
