Uday Bhanu Chib becomes the new president of Youth Congress, will replace B.V. Srinivas

New Delhi : Congress has appointed Uday Bhanu Chib as the new National President of Indian Youth Congress. Let us tell you that Uday Bhanu Chib will replace Srinivas BV. Uday Bhanu Chib hails from Jammu and Kashmir and was currently serving as the National General Secretary of Youth Congress.

Uday Bhanu Chib has also been the former president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has issued an official letter regarding his appointment, in which he has been given this responsibility with immediate effect.

Let us tell you that earlier on Saturday, Congress appointed Subhankar Sarkar as the new president of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee. Let us tell you that Subhankar Sarkar has replaced senior party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who was serving in this post for a long time. This leadership change of Congress is being considered an important step in view of the upcoming elections in the state.

Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal informed that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed Uday Bhanu Chib, the current General Secretary of Indian Youth Congress and former President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress, as the President of Indian Youth Congress with immediate effect. He also said that the Congress party appreciates the contribution of outgoing President Srinivas BV.

Uday Bhanu Chib is the second leader who has got the honour of becoming the head of the youth wing of Congress. Let us tell you that before this Ghulam Nabi Azad has become the head of Youth Congress. Azad was the head of Youth Congress from 1980 to 1982. Let us tell you that Uday Bhanu Chib met Rahul Gandhi last Friday.
