Udit Narayan First Wife: Famous singer Udit Narayan has once again come into controversy. His first wife Ranjana has filed a complaint against him in the women’s police station of Supaul district of Bihar, making serious allegations. In this complaint, he has made allegations of criminal conspiracy against Udit Narayan, his two brothers and his second wife.

Ranjana reached Supaul women’s police station with her lawyer Karuna Kant Jha on Tuesday. He lodged his complaint by giving a written application. Ranjana says that a conspiracy was hatched against her and her uterus was removed without her knowledge. He came to know about this many years later during treatment.

Story of marriage and separation

Ranjana told that she is 61 years old and is a resident of Sanskrit Nirmali Ward No. 11 of Supaul district. She was married to Udit Narayan on 7 December 1984 as per Hindu customs. According to him, in 1985 Udit Narayan moved to Mumbai for his music career. During this time, he came to know through the media that he had got married for the second time. Whenever he asked questions about this, he was not given correct information.

Allegation of taking him to Delhi on the pretext of treatment

Ranjana alleges that in the year 1996, in the name of treatment, she was taken to a big hospital in Delhi. There her uterus was removed without her permission. He said that Udit Narayan’s brother Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan Jha were also present at that time. Ranjana also claims that his second wife Deepa Narayan was also in the hospital.

Alleged insult in Mumbai and Nepal

Ranjana told that when she went to Mumbai in 2006, she was not allowed to enter the house and was treated badly. After this she went to her in-laws’ house in Nepal, from where she was insulted and thrown away. Since then she is living in her maternal home.

Ranjana said that she had earlier approached the Family Court of Supaul and the Women’s Commission. There Udit Narayan accepted her as his wife and also gave her a settlement letter. But Ranjana alleges that he did not fulfill his promises and neither did he get respect nor support.

Ranjana says that she has been ill for a long time and is struggling with financial crisis. It was during the treatment that she came to know about the removal of her uterus. After this she decided to lodge a complaint again in the women’s police station. Talking to the media, he said that promises are made again and again, but they are not fulfilled. Demanding justice, she said that she has come to the police again out of compulsion.

Mahila police station in-charge Anju Tiwari said that the incidents mentioned in the complaint are almost three decades old. The case is being investigated. Based on the facts that emerge after investigation, an FIR will be registered and further action will be taken. At present this matter is under investigation and the police is investigating the facts.
