NTA has released the admit card for UGC NET December 2025. Currently available for the exam of 31st December. Candidates can immediately download and take a printout using their login details.
UGC NET December 2025: National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the admit card for UGC NET December 2025 session available for download. At present, admit cards have been issued only for the examination of 31 December 2025. Admit cards for the remaining dates will be available soon on the official website of NTA. All the candidates who are going to appear in this examination can download their admit card immediately.
Exam dates and shifts
UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted at designated examination centers across the country. The exam will be held on the following dates: 31st December 2025, 2nd January, 3rd January, 5th January, 6th January and 7th January 2026.
The examination will be held in two shifts every day. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. It will be mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card and valid identity proof (such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving License) to the examination centre. Entry into the examination hall will not be allowed without admit card and identity card.
Admit card for 31st December now available
Information has been given by NTA that at present admit cards have been issued only for the examination of 31 December 2025. Admit cards for the remaining dates will be released four days before the examination. For example, admit cards for January 1, 2026 exam will be available on December 28, and for January 2, 2026 exam, on December 30. Candidates are advised to download the admit card on time.
How to download admit card
Follow the following steps to download UGC NET admit card:
- First the official website of NTA ugcnet.nta.nic.in Go to.
- Click on the link Admit Card for UGC-NET December 2025 in the LATEST NEWS section on the home page of the website.
- Enter your application number, password and security pin on the login page.
- After login, the admit card will open on the screen. Now download it and take a printout.
Important instructions for the exam
Along with downloading the admit card, candidates will have to keep some important things in mind before coming to the examination centre. Admit card and identity card must be carried with you at the examination centre. Before coming to the examination centre, candidates must arrive on time and follow all instructions.
Other important information
NTA has also informed the candidates that if there is a difference between the details in the Aadhaar card of a student and the details filled in the application form, the option of correction will be available while filling the application. Additionally, support will be provided by NTA in case any technical issue is faced at the time of downloading the admit card.
