CM Mohan Yadav strict on Ujjain violence, said – strict action will be taken against those who disturb peace

Ujjain Tarana Violence: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s strict stance has come to light regarding the violent incident that took place in Tarana town of Ujjain district. He has clearly said that no leniency will be shown to those who disturb peace in the state. The Chief Minister said that where strictness is required, the government takes action with full force and the same will happen in future also.

CM Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is considered an island of peace. Maintaining law and order here is the priority of the government. If any person or group tries to disturb the peace of the state, it will be dealt with sternly. He also said that his government is known for good governance and wherever laxity is seen in the systems, strict steps are taken immediately.

In fact, The atmosphere suddenly deteriorated after a minor dispute in Tarana area on Thursday. Initially there was a small altercation, but after Friday afternoon the situation became quite serious. Violence broke out in the area, in which incidents of stone pelting, vandalism and arson were reported. The miscreants set a bus on fire, while many other vehicles were also damaged.

Markets had to be closed

Tarana markets had to be closed due to violence. The shutters of shops were pulled down and people hid in their homes. There is an atmosphere of fear and tension in the entire area. A large number of police forces have been deployed to control the situation.

Why did the violence start?

It is being told that this uproar started after the attack on a leader of Bajrang Dal. After this the tension between both the sides continued to increase. Local people allege that after Azaan, some people came with prior planning and pelted stones at houses, shops and temples. The incident of stone throwing at Man Kamneshwar Mahadev Temple has also been captured in CCTV camera.

Section 144 implemented in entire area

To keep the situation under control, police from 9 police stations have been deployed in Tarana. Section 144 has been imposed in the entire area and people are being appealed to maintain peace by making continuous announcements. SP Pradeep Sharma himself is present at the spot and is keeping an eye on the situation.
