Anurag Dobhal health update: UK07 Rider’s wife Ritika visits him amid reports of father disowning him; Mannara Chopra cries, asks fans to pray for him

Ex-Bigg Boss contestant and YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, aka UK07 Rider, is battling for his life following a car crash during an Instagram Live session. The incident occurred on the Delhi-Dehradun highway on Saturday night. It so happened that UK07 Rider wasn’t in a good frame of mind, and while he was driving at 140–150 kmph, he was on Instagram Live when he rammed his car into a divider.

Anurag told viewers he felt completely alone and had no one left to call. During the livestream, he said, “Log hi nahi bache hai yaar jisko phone karu (I have no one left to call).” Let’s go for a final ride.”

A few days ago, Anurag had shared a disturbing note on Instagram, claiming that he faced mental harassment and torture. He later released what he called his “last video” and blamed his parents and siblings for “torturing” him. He claimed that they were against his inter-caste marriage and did not allow his wife, Ritika Chauhan, to enter the house.

He sustained several injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. On Sunday morning, his manager, Rohit Panday, shared that the content creator had been kept in the ICU.

Rohit has been keeping Anurag’s fans updated about his health for the last few days. He earlier said, “Update: Close friends, Bhabhi (Anurag’s wife Ritika Chauhan) and her family are currently at the hospital with him. He is still under observation. Please do not spread rumours or misinformation. Also, let’s not target or spread hate towards anyone at this time. We are monitoring the situation. Let’s all pray for him and hope for his speedy recovery.”

Later, Rohit Panday took to his social media and shared Anurag’s health update. In the picture shared on Anurag’s Instagram Stories, Anurag is seen resting on a hospital bed. He was holding the hand of a friend sitting beside him. The caption read, “Pray for Anurag fighting for life.”

Meanwhile, Anurag’s manager, Rohit Panday, also posted a message for haters on his Instagram Stories through an emoticon and wrote, “To haters. Bas yeh gaana suno, mujhe yaad rakhoge (Listen to this song and make it a point to remember me).” The song used was ‘Naam Chale’ by Vikram Sarkar. He later deleted the story.

On March 8, Rohit had also deleted a series of stories where he expressed shock at seeing many people speaking about Anurag’s mental health and praying for his recovery. Rohit said that none of these people had taken a stand for Anurag earlier and were now doing it for publicity. He added that Anurag had predicted this and said he did not want his voice to be sidelined in this manner.

Mannara Chopra gets emotional

Actor Mannara Chopra, who was Anurag’s Bigg Boss 17 co-contestant, took to her YouTube channel and appealed to fans and well-wishers to keep him in their prayers, hoping for his speedy recovery. She was seen crying inconsolably in the video.

Meanwhile, tensions between Anurag Dobhal and his family have escalated. As per several reports, Anurag Dobhal’s father has issued a declaration in a local newspaper disowning him and his wife, Ritika.

The announcement printed in Hindi reads, “I hereby declare that my son Anurag Dobhal and my daughter-in-law Ritika Chauhan Dobhal are disinherited from all my movable and immovable property. They will be responsible for any future actions or transactions undertaken by them; my family and I will have no responsibility. – Jagdamba Prasad Dobhal, son of the late Narayan Dutt Dobhal.”

A few days back, Anurag had also shared a two-hour-long vlog about his strained relationship with his family. In the vlog, he accused his parents and brother Kalam Ink (Atul Dobhal) of mental torture. He had even said, “In case I die, it will be these four people who should be blamed.”
